A Medicine Preparation Room in the Inpatient Department at SKMCH&RC, Lahore is located opposite to the Satellite Pharmacy of the Inpatient 2B which houses medication cabinets supplied with all necessary medications required for the admitted patients of the Inpatient. The access to the room is restricted to the nursing staff, which prepares the medicine for the admitted patients upon the direction of the doctors.

The Inpatient department at SKMCH&RC, Karachi will have a Medicine Preparation Room (similar to the one at SKMCH&RC, Lahore, photographs of which are shown above).
