Surgery - In Patient
A nursing station is an area of a health care facility where Patient Care Officers, Nurses and other health care staff work in coordination with each other to provide effective and timely services to patients. The station has a counter that can be approached by patients and attendants who wish to receive attention from staff. Shelves on the counter are places for which access is limited to relevant staff only, such as patient files, work orders, and certain types of equipment. The nursing stations not only carry out administrative tasks, but also clinically associated functions that have impact on the delivery of care to the patients.
