Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is our pleasure to invite you to join us for the 22nd Annual Shaukat Khanum Cancer Symposium (SKCS), which will be held in the historic city of Peshawar, Pakistan from November 3rd – 5th, 2023. We hope that you will attend in person, but the symposium is being organised as a hybrid event, so as to encourage as many people as possible to participate.

The Shaukat Khanum Cancer Symposium is Pakistan’s largest cancer meeting and provides a great platform for renowned academics and clinicians from across the globe to present their work and discuss latest advances in the dynamic field of oncology. The meeting aims to cover all aspects of patient care, and to provide a strong foundation for improving the multi-disciplinary model of cancer care. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their clinical practice based on the latest evidence and ground-breaking research. Additionally, the meeting acts as a catalyst for researchers to share ideas, providing opportunities to establish links between leading cancer institutions worldwide to promote scientific collaboration which will benefit all our patients.

We look forward to welcoming you to our ancient city, well known for its hospitality. Visitors to Peshawar have the opportunity to explore the historic pre-Mughal Qissa Khawani Bazaar, the majestic Bala Hissar Fort (once the royal residence of the Durrani kings), or to visit the famous Khyber Pass which has served as a trade route between Central and South Asia for over 2,000 years.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Peshawar.
