Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is one of the most important units of the Hospital’s internal medicine department. SKMCH&RC, Lahore is well equipped in this regard and is staffed with board-certified critical care consultant and formally-trained respiratory therapists while offering one-to-one nursing services. All of our intensive care unit (ICU) rooms are equipped with ventilators of cutting-edge technology. The ICU also has the facility to perform continuous veno-venous haemodiafiltration (CVVHDF) and intermittent Hemodialysis for critically ill patients.  SKMCH&RC, Karachi will have the provision of 24 ICU Rooms. Each ICU room (similar to the ones at SKMCH&RC, Lahore, photographs of which are shown above) will be provided with all necessary equipment (depending on the condition of the patient) e.g. Ventilator, Cardiac Monitor, Fatal Monitor, Infusion Pump, Defibrillator, Anesthesia Machine, ECG Machine, Suction Machine, Crash Cart Trolley and Portable Ultrasound Machine.

• Placement of the name of Donor on the Founding Donor Monument to be built at SKMCH&RC, Karachi
• An exclusive inauguration ceremony of the sponsored Intensive Care Room at SKMCH&RC, Karachi. The ceremony is to be attended by officials of SKMCH&RC and the Donor family
