Emergency Assessment Room (EAR) is an integral part of the Hospital. EAR provides round the clock services to the registered cancer patients with medical emergencies. Patients who are undergoing cancer treatment may have multiple reasons to visit the Emergency Assessment Room. For example, patients who are undergoing chemotherapy may have side effects and therefore, have to visit EAR to get immediate medical care.

SKMCH&RC in Karachi will have 22 Emergency Assessment Beds in Emergency Assessment (similar to the ones at SKMCH&RC, Lahore, photographs of which are shown above).

Recognition:

• Fixation of a lifetime dedication plaque outside of the Emergency Assessment Bed in Emergency Assessment at SKMCH&RC, Karachi
• Placement of the name of Donor on the Founding Donor Monument to be built at SKMCH&RC, Karachi
