Description:

The Nursing Station serves as the administrative centre for nursing care that is responsible for looking after the patients who are undergoing chemotherapy. It is centrally located and supervised by the Unit Coordinator who assists with paperwork, telephone and other communication. Before going on duty, nurses usually report at the station to receive daily assignments. The station is equipped in a way that is appropriate for the needs of the patients in the chemotherapy.

Chemotherapy Paediatric Section at SKMCH&RC, Karachi will have a Nursing Station (similar to the one at SKMCH&RC, Lahore, photographs of which are shown above).
