Description:

Reception Area in the surgical department of the Hospital is a first point of contact for incoming patients and attendants. Dedicated staffs at the reception area are involving dealing with the patients and their attendants. The staff at the reception signs-in incoming patients and informs nursing staff in the surgical department of their arrival so they can be taken to the holding bay for further procedures and associated preparations.

SKMCH&RC, Karachi will have a Preparation Reception Area in Surgery-Inpatient-Recovery (similar to the ones at SKMCH&RC, Lahore, photographs of which are shown above).

Recognition:

• Fixation of a lifetime dedication plaque alongside of the designated Preparation Reception Area in Surgery-Inpatient-Recovery at SKMCH&RC, Karachi
• Placement of the name of Donor on the Founding Donor Monument to be built at SKMCH&RC, Karachi
