We are delighted to announce the Begum Mir Research Award for best nursing paper to be presented during the 23rd Shaukat Khanum Cancer Symposium, to be held in Lahore, Pakistan, from 25th – 27th October 2024. 
 
Begum Mir Research Award will be given to the highest-ranked research presented in the Nursing category. Late Begum Mir had a strong conviction to provide free health care to poor and needy patients and hence, Mir family donated and helped in constructing a nursing teaching block at SKMCH&RC, Lahore, in the loving memory of their mother named ‘Begum Mehmooda Mir’ in December 2002. This award is to honour her memories.
