Ambulance

An ambulance is a vehicle designed for transportation of sick and injured patients to, from or between medical care centers. An ambulance is equipped with necessary basic life-supporting facilities such as a stretcher, an oxygen cylinder, a blood pressure monitor, a pulse oximeter, and arrangements for intravenous fluid transmission. At a cancer hospital, some of the cancer patients may need to be transported to other medical-care centers for non-cancerous treatment procedures like dialysis, audiometry, etc.
