Our commitment to Shariah-compliant Zakat management ensures that every donation is utilised effectively and efficiently.
After clinical evaluation, cancer patients needing financial support undergo a one-time financial assessment. Those deemed eligible for Zakat receive subsidised treatment, with over 75% of patients receiving all treatment completely free of charge.
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust ensures that all Zakat is disbursed within the year of collection and is used in accordance with Islamic principles. Zakat management at SKMT has been independently certified as being fully Shariah- compliant.
