This job is based at the SKMCH&RC Walk-In-Clinic (WIC) Karachi. The WIC is the initial point of contact for most patients with confirmed or suspected cancer. Responsibilities include initial evaluation and counseling and organizing staging investigations, followed by referral for further management. Knowledge of cancer staging is desirable, though on the job training will also be provided. Good communication skills are essential. Computer literacy and willingness to take on increasing responsibilities with time are essential pre-requisites.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS (should have passed all professional examinations in the first attempt obtaining at least 59% marks in each professional). - Should have completed one-year house job in Medicine and Surgery (further experience is strongly desirable). - Full PMDC / PMC registration. Note: Vaccination is mandatory for the candidates to appear in the interview.
