Eligibility Criteria:
- Matriculate with Science Subjects (Minimum 55%). For 4 years BScN degree holders FSc with 55% marks is a must. - Current registration with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC). For Females: Professional Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. N) (Minimum GPA 2.5) from an accredited Nursing Educational Institution / University approved by Pakistan Nursing Council / HEC. - OR - Diploma in General Nursing (Minimum 55%) from an accredited Nursing Educational Institution (approved by Pakistan Nursing Council). - Diploma in Midwifery (for females only) (Minimum 55%) from an accredited Nursing Educational Institution approved by Pakistan Nursing Council. For Males: Professional Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. N) (Minimum GPA 2.5) from an accredited Nursing Educational Institution / University approved by Pakistan Nursing Council / HEC. OR Diploma in general Nursing and specialized diploma in Oncology/ BMT, ICU/EAR,OR, Pediatrics AND/OR 2 years- experience in a well reputed PNC/PMDC approved Hospital. Candidates with experience in specialized areas like Operation Theatre, ICU, Dialysis, BMT, Oncology etc. will be preferred.

The above Diploma will commence on Monday 4th March 2019. All registered nurses who fulfill the criteria are encouraged to apply. These courses provide an excellent opportunity for nurses to develop their skills and knowledge in relevant areas of Nursing practice leading to professional growth.
These courses are accredited by Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad and affiliated to the Postgraduate College of Nursing of the Punjab, Lahore.
Free places on the course are offered to all government sector nurses. For private sector nurses, a small course fee will be charged. Low cost single residential accommodation will be available for the duration of the course for those not living in Lahore.
Eligibility/Criteria for Admission: 

1.	Diploma in General Nursing Second Division (Marks 55% and above) from an accredited Nursing Educational Institution (approved by Pakistan Nursing Council).
2.	Diploma in Midwifery (females only) Second Division (Marks 55%) and above from an accredited Nursing Educational Institution (approved by Pakistan Nursing Council).
3.	Baccalaureate Degree in Generic Nursing (BScN Generic GPA 2.5 and above) from an accredited Nursing Educational Institution (approved by Pakistan Nursing Council).
4.	At least 2-years- SKMCH&RC experience as a Registered Nurse for internal candidates and for external candidates2 years- experience from any institution or hospital recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council (preferably experience in oncology/critical care unit is required). 
In case of non-availability of candidates of internal candidates with 2 years- experience, 1 ½ years- experience at SKMCH&RC shall be considered. 
5.	Current registration with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
6.	Candidates who have completed General Nursing after 1995 will have to be Matriculate with Science 2nd Division with 45% marks in Science subjects ((Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics) or equivalent (Intermediate with Science is preferable) and overall 55% marks in Matric/ F.Sc.
7.	The Application Forms duly filled in along with testimonial of above said documents must be received by Friday 30th November, 2018 before 5:00pm.
8.	Incomplete and late applications will not be processed.
9.	Short-listed candidates are required to take assessment tests in English Language, Nursing Practice and Basic Mathematics on  Saturday 8th December, 2018  & Interview on Tuesday 18th December, 2018.
10.	The decision of the Selection and Progression Committee will be final and cannot be challenged in any Court of Law.
11.	No T.A/D.A will be provided.
12.	Application Forms and Prospectus are available from the Nursing Division Office, SKMCH & RC at Rs. 500/- Ext. 5002.
13.	Four (04) Seats are reserved for external candidates in each course.
