Eligibility Criteria:
- Registered nurse with valid PNC registration.
- Preferably have -Diploma in Oncology or Critical Care Nursing-.
- BScN degree required
- Candidates having master-s degree in Nursing (or equivalent) will be preferred.
- 04 years clinical experience, preferably of an Inpatient unit.
- Minimum 4 years management/supervisory experience in an Inpatient unit.
- Candidates with 2 years teaching experience in the similar area will be preferred.
- Well computer literate
- Not less than 55% marks (or not less than CGPA of 2.5, where applicable) in any academic/ professional degree/ certificate.
Job Summary:
- The overall responsibility of the post is to manage a mixed group of staff (registered nurses, health care assistants etc.)
- Effectively coordinate with all levels of staff including physicians (Oncologists, consultants, junior doctors in various specialties) and other multidisciplinary teams of the hospital.
- Manage all types of oncology/ICU patients with clinical duties.
- To oversee all activities of In-patient/ ICU units.
- The post holder is expected to teach, supervise and manage all staff involved in direct patient and family care.
- The post involves clinical practice, management, teaching and research.
