Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, located in DHA City, Karachi, will be twice the size of the SKMCH&RC in Lahore, and it is expected to be commissioned at a total cost of Rs. 25.5 billion. It will be equipped with the latest in medical technology and staffed by highly trained professionals. SKMCH&RC, Karachi will continue the legacy of SKMCH&RC in Lahore and Peshawar, and all patients will receive the best possible care, irrespective of their ability to pay. The treatment of cancer is often a costly and arduous process, with many patients having to make repeated trips over long distances in order to seek treatment. After successful completion of treatment, further visits for follow-up are required that could last for several years. The new hospital will hugely benefit the people of Sindh and Balochistan who will have access to state-of-the-art and comprehensive cancer care closer to their homes.

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) is a project of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, which is a charitable organization established under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 of Pakistan.
