Join us in building Pakistan’s largest state-of-the-art cancer hospital, “Shaukat Khanum Hospital Karachi”, which will herald in a new era of excellence in cancer treatment for the people of Karachi, Sindh, and Southern Balochistan.
With your regular donations, you can play a vital role in building Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) in Karachi. Located in DHA City, Karachi, this new hospital will be twice the size of SKMCH&RC, Lahore with an area of 1 million square feet and more than 400 beds. Equipped with the cutting edge medical equipment and staffed by highly trained professionals, this hospital will continue the legacy of Shaukat Khanum hospitals: to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care, irrespective of their ability to pay.
Every year, nearly 75 percent of the patients seen at SKMCH&RC Lahore and Peshawar are treated free of charge. Cancer treatment can be financially burdensome and logistically challenging, often requiring multiple trips over long distances. SKMCH&RC Karachi will bring the complete spectrum of cancer care services closer to the people of Sindh and Balochistan, thereby reducing the need to travel, and also help relieve financial and social costs associated with cancer treatment.
